I guarantee all of my work against flaws in materials and/or my craftsmanship. If something you have purchased from me comes apart or cracks or splits I will repair or replace it. I make every effort to use the best available materials and to do the best work I am able to do. Sometimes stuff happens. However, I can't be responsible for damage caused by abuse or neglect. (For example: If you run a hardwood charcuterie board through the dishwasher and it cracks and warps or if your cat knocks your phone stand off the desk and it breaks, that is your problem, not mine.)

Care instructions
I finish my charcuterie and cheese boards with the highest quality food safe finishes available. Of course, they will need to be washed by hand with warm water and mild detergent after use and then periodically re-oiled with butcher-block oil. They must NEVER be put in a dishwasher or be exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight (to prevent cracking and warping). My other woodworks are finished with the highest quality appropriate finishes. With reasonable care my boards and other products will remain beautiful and in perfect condition for many years.
Product Availability and Shipping Times
I am a "one-man-shop". I try to keep a supply of products ready to ship, but it is not always possible. If you order a product that I do not have in stock and I have to make it for you please understand that quality craftsmanship takes time and that I will create and ship your order as quickly as is possible without cutting any corners. If I have your contact information, I will keep you posted concerning your order and when it will be ready to ship.
International Orders and Shipping Charges
With costs rising as they are, I can no longer offer free shipping. I am doing everything I can to keep my prices reasonable and fair. I can accept sales to clients outside of the United States and Canada, but the terms of shipping such sales will need to be negotiated on an individual order basis: The global shipping situation has simply become too uncertain. I am going to have to charge shipping within the USA and Canada now that USPS is going to increase costs again in 2024-25. If you have questions, please communicate any concerns with me clearly by email with your order. Thank you.
Customs and import taxes on International Orders
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs complications.
Custom and personalized orders
If you would like to personalize an item, please go to my main webpage at WWW.SONRISEWOODCARVING.COM and connect with me by email or by text from there. All my products can be personalized, but I would prefer to handle such requests as "special commission" orders to make sure that you get exactly what you are desiring for your finished project. Of course, personalizations and all "custom orders" are also "special commission projects" and you will need to contact me directly.
Payment in full will be expected at the time of the order for all custom orders.
THERE CAN BE NO RETURNS OF OR REFUNDS FOR MONOGRAMMED OR PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS!
Cancellations of Custom Orders and for Personalized Items cannot be accepted once I have begun work on a project or purchased materials for a project.

I am a self-taught artist-carver-sculptor with some forty years professional experience. I am a Christian, biblically educated, a bible teacher and former pastor. It is my prayer that my commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and to our Creator God is apparent in the work I offer to you. I believe that I am doing all of my work with the eyes of my Lord and of my Father watching, and that they expect me to offer each of my clients only the best work that I have been blessed to be able to do. It is my prayer that I have been able to do this with integrity, with honesty, and at a fair price.
ABOUT MY FLAGS
My flags are individually handcrafted to order and are personalized with your supplied information. I finish my flags with the highest quality metallic finishes available. The bronze finish of each flag is metallic bronze mixed in an environmentally safe water-based vehicle and its patina is authentic. The bronze or gold of the plaque is also water-based metallic paint, not merely an artificially colored pigment.
These flags are only the first of what is going to become a well-stocked line of Conservative and Patriotic designs that I am developing. I would appreciate any suggestions from you about what you might like to see offered in the future. I will work to design accordingly.
CUSTOM WORK
For those who might be interested, I am always available to discuss custom work. If you have another project in mind, whether it be a different flag idea or something entirely unique, please connect with me. I can create a wide range of things, and most probably I will be able to create what you are thinking about. There are many ideas suggested by a Google search: I am able to customize most of what you might see on the Internet and offer it to you in almost any species of wood or with a painted or metallic finish as you may desire and in any size. Please, don't hesitate to ask!
ORDER EARLY
Because each of my flags is handcrafted and personalized, please allow me the time I need to make your flag and ship it to you. This will be a minimum of a week from the time I receive your order, IF I do not have any other orders in the queue before you. It may be longer. I am a one-man-shop and the multiple steps in making these flags all take time and can’t be rushed. So, please be aware of this and order your flag well in advance of any special date or event.
